This is the fourth and last installment of IDS’s coverage of the 38th Humana Festival of New American Plays hosted by Actors Theatre of Louisville. Helping the IDS round out its coverage are the Ten Minute Playwrights: Rachel Bonds [Winter Games], Jason Gray Platt [Some Prepared Remarks (A History in Speech)], Gregory Hischak [Poor Shem].
One of the mics died while our conversation takes place which tragically affects the audio quality of this episode…The IDS apologizes for this inconvenience. The IDS also apologizes to Rachel Bonds who is very hard to hear in this episode due to the failing microphone but we swear that she was; in fact, in the room.
This episode is heavily edited to make something out of nothing in regards to the poor audio quality. The editing choices should not and were not meant to reflect poorly on the content or this episode’s guests. Once again the IDS feels terrible about this and has summarily shot the offending microphone.
